All About Apples! Workshop - Youth
Make your own apple cider, taste test apple varieties, learn all about the fun history of apples and much more in this apple-filled program! Parent(s) must accompany children to this program. This program is fully outdoors. Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last the entire workshop. Feel free to send your child with their own hand sanitizer. Participants (including adults) and staff will be required to wear a face covering entering and exiting the program and throughout the program. The fee is $8.00 per child (residents and non-residents). Instruction by: City Green. Limit is 8 per class.
*Families must agree and sign the City Green COVID-safety policy, which includes all children and guardians wearing masks (excluding children younger than 2 years). Any family found intentionally disregarding the COVID-safety policy will be immediately un-enrolled from the program. Please read the waiver below under forms before registering. Participants will have to print and complete the waiver and bring it to the program.
Health & Safety Requirements
Please keep your child home if they have any viral symptoms or your child has been exposed to the virus - self isolate.
In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.
No handshakes, high fives, fist bumps, or hugging is permitted.
There is no sharing of equipment unless activity requires. Program equipment and supplies will be cleaned daily.
All activities will be socially distanced as best as possible. Some activities will be revised or modified to meet these criteria. This includes both active and passive activities.
Face-coverings will be required by participants and staff, until health restrictions are revised.
Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to send your child to the program with hand sanitizer and/or wipes as extra precaution. Hand sanitizer should contain at least 60% alcohol.
Only 1 participant will be allowed in the restrooms at a time.
Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home so that your child becomes accustomed to these procedures.
No outside visitors will be allowed at the programs other than City Green Staff/Program Instructors, Clifton Recreation Department Staff and Health Department Staff.
Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.
Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
