All Aboard Skateboard Lessons - Youth
If skateboarding has always appealed to you but never knew where to start, now is your chance! This 6-hour course will teach the basic skills necessary to skateboard with ease. In this basic course you'll learn to kick, push and stop, stance, turning and how to fall to help you safely navigate around town. The following equipment is required to participate in the class: skateboard, knee & elbow pads. All participants will receive a helmet at the first class. All Aboard! Instruction by: Tommy Morales. Limit is 8 per class.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last each class. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer. Participants & staff will be required to wear a face covering to class. Face coverings will be removed for outdoor physical activities while at the program. Participants will be required to have a temperature check and health assessment upon arrival at the program before they are allowed to participate. Unvaccinated adults should wear a face covering when dropping off/picking up their child and should stay with their child at drop off until they have been signed in (unless health regulations are revised). You can begin arriving 15 minutes before the program is scheduled to begin to allow time for the health assessment and temperature testing. Please be patient as this process will take some time to complete. Pre-registration online is required.

Health & Safety Requirements:
Please keep your child home if they have any viral symptoms or your child has been exposed to the virus - self isolate.
In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.
No handshakes, high fives, fist bumps, or hugging is permitted.
There is no sharing of equipment unless activity requires. Program equipment and supplies will be cleaned daily.
All activities will be socially distanced as best as possible. Some activities will be revised or modified to meet these criteria. This includes both active and passive activities.
Face-coverings will be required by participants and staff for indoor activities, until health restrictions are revised.
Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to send your child to the program with hand sanitizer and/or wipes as extra precaution. Hand sanitizer should contain at least 60% alcohol.
Only 1 participant will be allowed in the restrooms at a time.
Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home so that your child becomes accustomed to these procedures.
Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.
Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
