Enjoy the beauty of fall with story time in the garden! Over the 6 weeks, you and your pre-schooler will explore the changing seasons in our learning farm. Together we will learn about gardening and the local environment through storytelling, nature-based crafts, and fall planting activities. This program is fully outdoors. Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last each class. Feel free to send your child with their own hand sanitizer. Participants (including adults) and staff will be required to wear a face covering entering and exiting the program and throughout the program. Pre-registration online is required. Instruction by: City Green. Limit is 6 families per session.
ONLY 1 PARENT NEEDS TO REGISTER FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. ONE CHILD MUST BE BETWEEN 4-5 YEARS OLD TO PARTICIPATE.
*Families with children ages 4-5 years old can enroll (max 3 children, 2 adults per family). Parents can bring additional children outside of the pre-k age range. However, the programming will not be specifically catered toward those children, and they must always stay with their family group.
*Each family should only register for 1 session due to limited capacity in order to give other families a chance to enroll. The same activities will be featured in each session.
*Each session runs once a week for 1.5 hours for 6 weeks. Be sure to carefully select the session you can attend when registering.
*Families must agree and sign the City Green COVID-safety policy, which includes all children and guardians wearing masks (excluding children younger than 2 years). Any family found intentionally disregarding the COVID-safety policy will be immediately un-enrolled from the program. Please read the waiver below under forms before registering. Participants will have to print and complete the waiver and bring it to the first class.
