Registration can be conducted online, in person or mailed in (check or money order). The office is open on Monday from 8:15 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday - Friday from 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Instructional classes are open to both Residents and Non-Residents, on a first come, first served basis; however, there are separate class fees for Residents and Non-Residents. Proof of Residency will be required for all class registration. Early registration is strongly recommended. Program fees must be paid at the time of registration. Registration can be made online or through mail-in or walk-in with cash, check or money order. You are not registered for a program until payment is received. Make checks payable to the Clifton Recreation Department. Include your driver’s license number on all checks. The City will charge a $35.00 service fee for all checks not honored for any reason by the bank. Enrolled participants should attend the first class as scheduled – no confirmation is mailed to you. Late registration will be accepted prior to the second class meeting. Individuals registering late will be required to pay the total class fee (no pro-rating) and there are no refunds for missed classes or sessions. Children must meet age/grade requirements listed for the programs by the first day of the class unless program description indicates otherwise. The Clifton Recreation Department does not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, national origin, age or ability to participate in our programs. Our Department is committed to make sure that our programs are accessible for all citizens. If you need assistance, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the event/class so that we can make arrangements.
Nothing kills a recreation class faster than participants who wait until the last minute to enroll. There is a point at which courses must be canceled due to insufficient registration. Please enroll early!
