Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring!  There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba fitness-party.  It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.  Classes are broken down to include a 45-minute workout and 15-minute break during each session.  Instruction by: Katty Godoy, a Certified Zumba instructor.  Limit is 25 per class.

Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.  The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.  Classes are broken down to include a 45-minute workout and 15-minute break during each session.  Instruction by: Katty Godoy, a Certified Zumba Gold instructor.  This class is run in partnership with St. Mary's General Hospital Senior Link.  Limit is 25 per class.

Enjoy the City of Clifton's fun filled picnic with family and friends at Main Memorial Park on Thursday, July 4th (rain date: July 6th).  Great food, crafts, health screenings, clowns, free activities and rides for the children.  Family races and events will take place between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. For information about becoming a vendor, please contact the Mayor's Office at (973) 470-5757.  The City of Clifton fireworks display will be held at the Clifton High School Stadium beginning at dusk following the picnic (rain date: July 6th). These camps are designed for boys ages 7 to 17.  There are two camps available; Pitchers/Catchers Camp and Baseball Skills Camp.  Both programs are based upon the foundation of teaching correct, basic mechanics of baseball skills, implementing training drills to help each player attain his maximum potential and fostering enjoyment and appreciation of the game by making it fun.  Participants should bring their: mitt, water bottle and a baseball cap.  Catchers should bring their own catching equipment.  This camp is presented by Joe Rivera, CHS Varsity Baseball Coach.Baseball Skills Camp Program:Covers hitting, throwing, fielding and other general offensive & defensive skills.Pitchers and Catchers Camp:Will cover techniques and drills specific to pitchers and catchers.Program Incentives: * All participants will receive a camp T-Shirt.  * Early Bird Special: Register by May 27, 2019 and receive a $10.00 discount. * Sibling Discount: Receive a $10.00 discount on the 2nd child. * Bring a Friend: This is for last year's participants - bring a friend to this year's    camp, who did not participate last year, and receive 5 Clifton Recreation Dollars to spend on Recreation Department programs.

Using the SNAG (starting new at golf) system, participants use over-sized, lightweight clubs to encourage the correct grip and swing technique.  In a safe and controlled environment this program makes learning simple, progressive and fun.  Participants receive a t-shirt and certificate. Instruction by: US Sports Institute.

Come spend your summer on the City Green Farm!  Together we will enjoy the farm animals, visit the gardens and make connections to food and the natural world around us.  Activities will include: gardening, feeding chickens and collecting eggs, feeding the goats and pigs, music and stories, community-building games, farm to fork food preparation, arts and crafts and nature collection activities. Participants are welcome to sign up for both sessions if they would like to! Instruction by: City Green. Limit is 20 per camp.
