Join SNAP-ED for this FREE 4-week class that will get participants on the right track by eating smart and being active! Through nutrition education, physical activity and hands-on recipes participants will gain valuable knowledge that can be implemented into their daily lives. Each week participants will receive informative materials and worksheets as well as a small gift each class. Topics include:
Week 1: Get Moving-Emphasize the importance of regular exercising and body movement.
Week 2: Plan, Shop & Save-Participants learn how to shop for nutritious food on a budget and how to save money.
Week 3: Fruits and vegetables-Participants learn and come up with creative ideas to make half of their plates full of fruits and vegetables. 
Week 4: Make a change-Participants learn how to make healthier choices, how to make healthier swaps to incorporate foods that contains lower sodium, lower sugars and less fat.
Pre-registration is required. Please list any allergies when registering. Instruction by: SNAP-ED.  Limit is 25 per class.
