Spring Story Time In The Garden - Youth

Enjoy the beauty of spring with Story Time in the Garden! Over the six weeks, you and your preschooler will explore spring gardening and the changing seasons in our Learning Farm. Together we will learn about our local environment through storytelling, nature-based crafts, and spring planting activities.  This program is fully outdoors. Pre-registration online is required. Instruction by: City Green. Limit is 8 families per session.  ONLY 1 FAMILY MEMBER should register for the program. Each family should only register for 1 session due to limited capacity and both sessions will be the same lessons.  One child in the family must be between 3-5 years old.

Session 1: Tuesdays - April 25th - May 30th (rain date June 6th) 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Session 2: Thursdays - April 27th - June 1st (rain date June 8th) 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Additional Information:
*Families with pre-school-aged children (3-5 years old) can enroll. Max 3 children and 2 adults per family participating. One child must be 3-5 years old. Parents can bring additional children outside of that age range. However, the programming will not be specifically catered towards those children, and they must always stay with their family group.

*Each family should only register for 1 session due to limited capacity in order to give other families a chance to enroll. The same activities will be featured in both sessions.

*Each session runs once a week for 1.5 hours. Be sure to carefully select the session you can attend at least 4 of the 6 classes when registering.

Health & Safety Requirements:
Face coverings are optional. While this establishment no longer requires masks to enter, please be kind to those who choose to wear a mask.

Participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last during class.

Please stay home if you have any viral symptoms or have been exposed to the virus - self isolate.

In the event that the program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.

Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place at the beginning and end of class. Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.

Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home.

Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.

Instructors/staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects throughout the day.
