Bring your tent and sleeping bags for our award-winning Family Camp-Out at Albion Park. Enjoy a fun night of events and camping. Sit around the campfire, enjoy dinner, roast marshmallows, sing songs and tell tales. The following morning, enjoy breakfast and educational camp stations, crafts, cooking, fishing trip, family games and more. New this year: The cost is $10.00 residents / $20.00 non-residents per campsite (a single tent up to 4 people) and $4.00 residents / $8.00 per additional person. If you are going to be using a second tent, you will need to register for an additional campsite. A single person who plans to sleep over must purchase the registration for a regular campsite. Pre-registration is required and can be done online or at the Recreation Office. You may register and pay on the day of the event if space is still available.  Participants must pick up wristbands at the registration table on the night of the event upon arrival.   

Please note: Participants are required to set-up tents on their own.  If you want a campsite next to another family, all parties must check-in at the same time at the event

This year’s camping theme is "Howl at the Moon".

Online registration ends on 8/15/18.  If you want to register for this program after the 15th you need to call (973) 470-5956 and register over the phone or come in person to the Recreation Department Office in City Hall at 900 Clifton Avenue - 2nd floor.

General Notes
  • Groups larger than 6 must have a second campsite unless approved by the Recreation Department.
  • If you would like to have a campsite next to a particular family, all parties must check-in at the same time at the event.
  • Participants are required to set-up tents on their own.
