Smiling Kids Leaning Down into the Picture
Who would think learning important STEM concepts could be fun? The physics of flying is made simple and enjoyable with Hobby Quest's Aviation Camp. You'll learn the science of how to build and actually fly our all-new, high-soaring models. How far will yours go? How high will it climb? Why does it fly? This camp will be packed with tons of building and flying fun-and you'll learn a great deal too! Have a seat and prepare for takeoff by making HQ Aviation Camp your next science adventure! Participants will take home some of the airplanes they build. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, participants are required to bring enough water bottles to last each camp day. Feel free to send your child with their own hand sanitizer. Instruction by: Hobby Quest.  Limit is 20 per camp.

Participants & staff will be required to wear a face covering to camp each day. Face coverings will be removed for outdoor physical activities while at the program. Unvaccinated individuals should wear a face covering when dropping off and picking up their child (unless health regulations are revised).  Instruction by: Hobby Quest.  Limit is 20 per class.

Participants will be required to have a daily temperature check and health assessment upon arrival at the camp program before your child is allowed to participate. When dropping off, unvaccinated individuals should wear a face covering and stay with their child until they have been tested and approved.  The program is conducted from 9:00 a.m. to - 12:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; however, you can begin arriving at 8:45 a.m. to allow time for the health assessment before camp starts. Please be patient as this process will take some time to complete. Pre-registration online is required.

Health & Safety Requirements:
Drop Off:
The program begins at 9:00 a.m.; however, you can begin arriving at 8:45 a.m. This will allow time for the required daily temperature check and health assessment that must be conducted before your child is allowed to participate in the program.

Each day your child will be asked a series of 4 health assessment questions and temperature taken daily. Any child that fails the pre-admission screening will not be able to participate in the program. Please be patient when dropping off your child as this may take some time and can only be done one at a time. If your child walks or rides a bike to the program and does not pass the pre-assessment requirements, parents will be contacted to come and pick their child up immediately.

Unvaccinated individuals should wear a face-covering as they wait for their child to be tested and approved for admission.


Pick Up:
The program ends at 12:00 p.m. (there is no after care provided). Please make sure you are there by dismissal time.

Please notify the camp staff if your child will be going home with someone other than yourself.

Unvaccinated individuals should wear a face-covering when picking up their child from the program.


COVID-19 REGULATIONS:
Please keep your child home if they have any viral symptoms or your child has been exposed to the virus - self isolate.

In the event that the camp program is closed due to a health emergency, participant will receive a partial refund for the days the program is required to be closed.

No handshakes, high fives, fist bumps, or hugging is permitted.

Program equipment and supplies will be cleaned daily.

Hand washing / hand sanitizing will take place frequently throughout the day. Feel free to send your child to the program with hand sanitizer and/or wipes as extra precaution. Hand sanitizer should contain at least 60% alcohol.

Only 1 participant will be allowed in the restrooms at a time.

Respiratory etiquette for coughing, sneezing and nose blowing will be encouraged at all times. Practice and encourage these health guidelines at home so that your child becomes accustomed to these procedures.

Be sure to thoroughly wash hands, for at least 20 seconds, when you return home.

Frequently touched surfaces and objects will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
